This is an indicator that the user is likely using a Windows based device with an Intel chipset that has outdated drivers, meaning it is not compatible with Wi-Fi 6 (aka 802.11ax).
Apple, Android, Chrome or other non-Windows based devices are NOT affected.
Full details of the affected drivers and adaptors are available in a dedicated Intel support article.
For Dell devices, IT Services has already rolled out updated drivers to all of the affected Windows systems it manages, and has set up a wiki page to help ITSS colleagues address the issue on any Dell devices that they support.
For non-Dell devices, Intel has included a fix for this issue in its latest drivers for its wireless adaptors. You can get more information and resources from the Intel support page dedicated to this issue and the Intel Driver & Support Assistant.
