Following a Focus programme review, we are working with a range of departments to pilot CoreHR’s time and absence management module; CoreTime.

The pilot includes groups of participants from:

  • Faculty of Classics
  • University Human Resources
  • Nuffield Department of Medicine (Ludwig Cancer Research and Big Data Institute)
  • Department of Physics

Objectives include:

  1. Implement online timesheets for over 350 casual workers; and
  2. Manage leave requests within CoreHR

This pilot is scheduled to deliver in the spring of 2021. If successful, funding will be sought to support the roll out of this functionality to departments across the University.

This project aims to improve the quality of staff data held within the University's HR Information System; CoreHR.

Over a period of 12-18 months, the project team will work with departments to investigate, correct and complete missing data and put in place measures to prevent future deterioration. This vital work will reduce the extensive manual effort required to achieve statutory reporting, funding bids, and meet legislative requirements.
